It’s been 2 whole, entire, complete years… soo much has happened.
But not a single day has not passed without thinking about Jersey, missing Jersey and wishing he were still here. It’s still not easy … and I think that piece of my heart is gone, forever.
I totally understand Kim, I feel the same. Jersey and NItro are probably good friends at the Bridge. It was good to hear from you.

Yep, ditto here, we completely get it. The anniversaries come and go but our hearts still feel an ache knowing that our heart dog was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Even nine years after Jerry’s passing, I still feel that. What’s helped me move ahead in the grief is to follow that old saying, don’t mourn what is gone but rejoice in that you had it in the first place.
Bodies don’t last forever, but the love you had for Jersey and the bond he had with you will never fade, no matter how much time passes.
